Quality Standards

Many BAR members have also elected to adopt the increasingly widely known European Standard for removals - BS EN 12522 and the recently available sister standard covering storage - BS EN 14873.

These standards are the first and only recognised quality standards specifically aimed at furniture removals and storage for the benefit of the private individual. Certified companies operate to clearly defined standards and the procedures are designed to benefit you, the customer, at every stage of your move.

For commercial moves, all BAR Commercial Moving Group members adhere to the Commercial moving standard BS 8522.

For overseas moves, BAR recognises the internationally accepted FAIM accreditation which many Overseas Group members have adopted.
